1. Inspectable scope
Every product page identifies the format, intended learner, deliverables, sequence, access, requirements, support, exclusions and known limitations. Vague promises are not a substitute for an exact product description.
2. Practice material
Exercises should use fictional, anonymised or learner-created non-sensitive material. Spreadsheet files should open in the disclosed software, instructions should state the expected result and examples should include review points and exceptions rather than only a polished final output.
3. Human-check standard
AI-assisted examples must identify the task owner, allowed source material, review criteria and final human responsibility. The course must not present generated output as automatically accurate, fair, confidential or suitable for a consequential decision.
4. Technical testing
- Verify that files download and open in the stated format.
- Test formulas, scripts and instructions against supplied practice data.
- Check captions, contrast, navigation and keyboard access in the course interface where applicable.
- Confirm that product links, access instructions and policy routes work before publication.
5. Corrections and tool changes
AI and office products change. Material errors should be corrected and material compatibility changes should be communicated where practical. Updates may refine examples without promising permanent compatibility with every tool version, account tier or administrator configuration.
6. Issue handling
A learner should be able to report a broken file, inaccessible lesson, material error or mismatch with the product description. The response may include clarification, a corrected file, restored access, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the issue and applicable rights.
7. No fabricated proof
Reviews, star ratings, learner counts, employer names, credentials and outcome metrics are not published without evidence and permission. Public reference sources inform subject research but do not endorse Polina or the courses.
